WHAT IS MEDIA ?

Media is the business side of advertising. What good is a great ad campaign if the right people don’t see or experience it? We media enthusiasts ensure that the brands we work with connect with the right people, at the right time, in the right place.

Why Horizon?

In 1989, CEO and President Bill Koenigsberg founded Horizon Media with the vision of creating a workplace where Business is Personal. 32 years later, the agency continues to grow without sacrificing that original vision; Horizon is a place full of great ideas and talented people. How do you know that an agency is happy, healthy, and driving growth in the all the right ways? When you’re recognized year in and year out with awards that honor your incredible culture. We’ve also created an environment where our people are free to invent, explore, share and excel.

What You’ll Get... As An Intern

An internship at Horizon is not coffee runs and photocopies. Here, we get work done and like to have fun. An internship at Horizon is an opportunity to get involved in real work with real results.

Our Summer Internship Program is a 8-week long, paid, full-time (40 hours/week) immersive experience that exposes interns to all facets of the media industry. Interns will develop personal and professional skills, make lasting connections, collaborate with each other and learn from the best in the industry. In addition to daily work within your department, interns participate in:

Hands on Learning Weekly trainings to provide insight into our different departments, grow your understanding of media, and further your professional skills

Presentation Experience End of program project with your peers to practice the presentation skills you’ll learn during the program, and the chance to pitch an idea to the entire company

Senior Leader Exposure The opportunity to meet with senior executives is always available to learn about their past and current career experiences and provide valuable advice

Field Trips  Visit big name companies in the industry for a chance to see other sides of the business firsthand. Past trips include Snapchat, iHeart Media, TikTok and Google
