Eric joined Horizon Media in 2000 as vice president, director of channel planning. With 20 years of experience in advertising and media service, Eric brings a strong strategic brand-based foundation to Horizon and is responsible for numerous advertising success stories. In January 2008, Eric was appointed channel insights director for curious@horizon, a new entity of Horizon Media.
Designed to serve as a resource for existing Horizon brand teams and clients, curious@horizon, brings together the core disciplines of consumer insights and media creativity seamlessly focusing them behind individual brand communications. Eric will be responsible for uncovering channel insights for the group.
Prior to joining Horizon Media, Eric’s work spanned the spectrum of clients, including Volvo Cars of North America, Verizon Wireless, Merrill Lynch, Land Rover of North America, Bausch & Lomb and Marsh & McClellan Companies.
Throughout his career, Eric has held senior strategic media planning roles at MVBMS, Euro RSCG, Bozell Worldwide and Grace & Rothschild and Partners. All through those years, Eric was instrumental in developing communication strategies for product launches, promotional initiatives and brand establishment.

Tom Meyer joined curious@horizon as vice president of channel insights in 2008, reporting to Eric Blankfein. Serving as the prime resource and member of the group, he is a key resource to management, managing directors and brand group directors with regard to proprietary tools, emerging communication channels and new uses for traditional channels.
Tom was formerly the vice president, associate research director overseeing all research at Carat USA, Los Angeles. He served many multifaceted roles at the agency including director of media resources, strategic planning and research and provided insights for key brands including adidas, Hyundai, Kia, Jenny Craig and Red Bull.
