curious isn’t just the name of our group – it’s our ethos.

Sheri joined Horizon Media in 2007 in the newly created position of senior vice president consumer insights director to work closely with Horizon’s brand teams to help ensure a strategic focus on client’s businesses that is both consumer-cognizant and brand-relevant to provide even more powerful communications solutions that will fully engage consumers. In January 2008, Sheri was appointed consumer insights director for curious@horizon, a new entity at Horizon Media.

Designed to serve as a resource for existing Horizon brand teams and clients, curious@horizon brings together the core disciplines of consumer insights and media creativity seamlessly focusing them behind individual brand communications. Sheri will be responsible for uncovering consumer insights for the group.

Sheri brings over 20 years in consumer insights, strategic planning and marketing roles both agency and client-side to Horizon Media. Most recently, she led strategic planning on Pfizer and Merial accounts at Saatchi & Saatchi Consumer Healthcare, bringing consumer and brand-based strategy and insights to pharmaceutical advertising. Sheri also spent time in senior strategic planning roles at both J. Walter Thompson and Gotham on accounts such as Unilever and FujiFilm.

Her client-side experience includes consumer insights roles at Pepsi, and nearly a decade at Guinness, both in London and the U.S., where she was instrumental in developing the overall marketing and advertising strategy behind the first Guinness TV advertising in the U.S. Sheri also oversaw new product and brand development during this time, and launched the consumer insights group in the U.S. office.
